INMODE RADIOFREQUENCY PLATFORM · BELLEVUE
CONTOURA™
One platform. Multiple treatment paths. A personalized approach to smoother-looking skin, cellulite appearance, and body contour refinement.

The Contoura system
Different tools.
One considered plan.
Contoura is not a single one-setting treatment. It is an InMode workstation designed to support different radiofrequency applications across selected face and body areas.
BodyFX and MiniFX combine bipolar RF energy with vacuum-assisted tissue positioning. Forma and Plus use controlled bipolar RF heating with real-time temperature monitoring. Your provider selects the available applicator, treatment area, and parameters after examining your anatomy and goals.
- Treatment planning by area and tissue characteristics
- Temperature-aware radiofrequency delivery
- Non-invasive options for selected face and body concerns
Available applicators and indications vary by Contoura configuration and market. Muse uses only equipment available in our practice and only when appropriate for the individual patient.
Technology pathways
Selected for the
treatment goal.
The treatment name matters less than the right match between applicator, area, tissue depth, and realistic objective.
Vacuum-assisted RF
BodyFX + MiniFX
Designed for body-focused protocols that combine bipolar radiofrequency with vacuum-assisted tissue positioning. These applicators may be considered for localized contour concerns and the temporary improvement in the appearance of cellulite.
Controlled bipolar RF
Forma + Plus
Designed to heat tissue in a controlled way while monitoring temperature. Depending on the applicator and candidacy, treatment may be planned for smoother-looking skin and selected mild laxity concerns.
The Muse approach
Personalized mapping
We assess skin quality, tissue thickness, contour, medical history, prior procedures, and expectations before recommending any applicator or treatment series.
What we assess
Designed around
what you want to refine.
Contoura may be one option within a broader plan. We compare it with other non-invasive, injectable, laser, and surgical approaches when appropriate.
Cellulite appearance
Assessing dimpling pattern, tissue mobility, skin quality, and the areas that matter most to you.
Skin smoothness
Planning controlled RF treatment for selected areas where texture or mild laxity is the priority.
Localized contour
Evaluating tissue distribution and whether a non-invasive treatment can realistically fit your goal.
Face + body mapping
Selecting an appropriate treatment area and applicator rather than applying one protocol everywhere.

Safety and candidacy
Non-invasive does not mean risk-free.
Contoura may not be appropriate during pregnancy, with active infection or open wounds in the treatment area, or for some people with implanted electrical devices, metal in the area, impaired sensation, uncontrolled medical conditions, or other contraindications. Tell your provider about all health conditions, medications, prior procedures, and implants.
Temporary warmth, redness, tenderness, swelling, bruising, altered sensation, burns, contour irregularity, pigment change, or other complications are possible. This page is educational and does not replace medical advice. Individual comfort, recovery, and results vary; an in-person evaluation is required.
Common questions
Before your
consultation.
What is InMode Contoura?+
Contoura is a multi-application radiofrequency platform. Depending on the installed configuration, its technologies may include BodyFX or MiniFX for body-focused treatment and Forma or Plus for controlled tissue heating and skin-smoothing goals.
What can Contoura address?+
After an in-person assessment, Contoura may be considered for the temporary improvement in the appearance of cellulite, smoother-looking skin, mild laxity, or localized contour concerns. The suitable applicator and treatment plan depend on anatomy, goals, and medical history.
What does treatment feel like?+
People commonly describe warmth and, with vacuum-assisted applicators, a pulling sensation. Your provider monitors skin response and comfort throughout the session. Sensation varies by area and settings.
Is there downtime?+
Contoura is non-invasive, and many people return to normal activities promptly. Temporary redness, warmth, tenderness, swelling, or bruising can occur. Your provider will review individual aftercare and risks.
How many treatments will I need?+
There is no universal series. The number and spacing of visits depend on the applicator, treatment area, tissue characteristics, goals, and response. Muse will recommend a plan only after consultation.
