One platform · a spectrum of care
Tetra PRO is designed for customization—not a one-setting-fits-all treatment.
Your provider can tailor pulse duration, energy, density, coverage, and passes. That means a plan can prioritize a lighter refresh with limited interruption, or a more intensive resurfacing approach when deeper correction and more recovery are appropriate.
Individual results, comfort, and recovery vary. A consultation is required to determine candidacy and treatment intensity.
The treatment spectrum
Short, high-peak-power pulses support superficial fractional resurfacing while limiting lingering heat in surrounding tissue.
More intensive settings may be selected for deeper lines, sun damage, or scar concerns when additional recovery fits the goal.
What we can evaluate

The treatment experience
Cartessa describes a full-face CoolPeel as approximately 5–15 minutes. Your complete appointment may take longer for consultation, photography, skin preparation, comfort measures, and aftercare.
We review goals, skin history, medications, sun exposure, and recovery preferences.
Your provider selects the treatment mode, energy, density, coverage, and passes.
You leave with specific barrier care, sun protection, and guidance for active skincare.

Common questions
CoolPeel is a superficial fractional CO₂ resurfacing treatment available on the DEKA Tetra PRO platform. Its H-Pulse delivers short, high-peak-power pulses designed to limit unnecessary heat in surrounding tissue, helping refresh tone and texture with less recovery than more intensive CO₂ protocols.
No. CoolPeel is one treatment option on the Tetra PRO platform. Tetra PRO can also deliver more intensive, customized CO₂ resurfacing. Your provider selects the pulse mode, power, density, coverage, and number of passes according to your skin, goals, and acceptable recovery time.
Comfort varies with the treatment intensity and area. For a light CoolPeel, numbing may not always be necessary; cooling or topical numbing may be offered. More intensive resurfacing requires a different comfort and aftercare plan. We explain this before treatment.
After a light CoolPeel, skin can feel warm and look pink for a day or two, followed by dryness or a sandpaper-like texture as the surface renews. Stronger Tetra PRO settings can involve more visible redness, peeling, swelling, and downtime. Recovery varies by protocol and person.
The face is common, and selected protocols may also be considered for the neck, chest, hands, or other areas. Suitability and settings depend on skin type, treatment history, sun exposure, and the area being treated.
There is no universal number. Some people choose a series of lighter treatments; others may be better served by a more intensive session with additional recovery. Your provider will recommend timing only after an in-person assessment.
